a website for a real estate agency: how to get requests, not just calls from listings

real estate agencies often live on listing boards and build a site «just to have one». as a result it looks like yet another apartment catalog, worse than the big portals. here's how to build an agency site that brings in clients.

don't compete with the portals

the big portals will always have more listings than your site. so an agency site should sell not a catalog but you: your expertise, your specialisation and how you help people sell or buy faster and more safely.

specialisation on the first screen

everyone writes «buying, selling and renting property». «we sell apartments in new builds on the left bank» or «we find townhouses outside the city within your budget» (sample phrasings) explains right away who needs you. specifics again work better than generic words.

two audiences: sellers and buyers

each audience needs its own path on the site and its own request: «value my apartment» and «find me an apartment».

trust

real deals with photos and numbers, client reviews, a team with faces and experience. according to dim, today's buyer checks reputation and documents rather than buying on emotion. for an agency, reputation is the main product.

listings

if you show listings, they must be current: sold marked as sold, prices fresh. that takes a simple admin panel where a manager updates everything on their own.

faq

what should a real estate agency website include?

its specialisation, the value for sellers and buyers, real deals and reviews, the team, current listings and separate requests for a valuation and a property search.

does an agency need its own website if there are portals?

yes, if you want clients to come for your expertise and not only for specific listings: a site sells the agency, a portal only sells a property.
